High temperature Silicone Sealant
High-temperature silicone sealant is an ideal replacement for traditional gaskets. This product is easy to apply and perfectly suited for on-site shaping, curing, production, and maintenance tasks. Formulated with a new, environmentally friendly composition, this non-toxic, low-odor sealing adhesive offers superior resistance to temperature extremes, oils, and corrosion. It excels as a premier alternative to conventional gaskets. Widely utilized in the automotive, motorcycle, marine, and machinery industries, it provides exceptional flat sealing for engines, gearboxes, and axle housings. Whether during assembly or maintenance, it presents the optimal solution for addressing flat sealing challenges. Previously, flat sealing applications commonly relied on solid gaskets made from materials such as paper, asbestos, and metal. Over time, however, these traditional gaskets are susceptible to leaks caused by stress relaxation or fluid infiltration. To address this issue comprehensively, anaerobic and silicone sealants have emerged as superior alternatives. These modern sealants offer exceptional adhesive strength, instant sealing, and resistance to oil, extreme temperatures, weathering, and pressure—effectively eliminating the risk of leakage.
This product is primarily designed for flange sealing applications, demonstrating exceptional resistance to oil and the capacity to accommodate significant movement within adhesive joints. It is particularly suitable for stamped metal covers, including timing gear covers, oil pans, and engine components.
Performance | Indicator |
Appearance | Silver-black, paste-like, neutral |
Skin time (min) | 5~10min |
Full Curing Time | ≤20h |
Sealing Gap | ≤6mm |
Elongation | ≥350% |
Hardness | 35±5HA |
Operating Temperature | -50~+320℃ |
Sealing Pressure | ≥12MPa |
Pre-treatment: For optimal bonding performance, the surface of the substrate should be clean and free of grease.
Adhesive application: Apply a bead of the product on the clean surface of the substrate, assemble the parts within five minutes. Press the parts together to ensure even distribution and full filling of the adhesive.
Curing: The adhesive point should be fully cured before bearing heavy loads. The curing speed depends on environmental humidity and temperature.
If there is excess adhesive, it can be removed with a non-polar solvent.
Package
300ml/tube, 70ml/tube, 50ml/tube
Storage
Store the original sealant in a dry place, the temperature should not be higher than 27 degrees Celsius, from the date of production, the storage period of 12 months
