Acetic High Grade Silicone Sealant



Description

AA750 acetoxy silicone sealant is a single-component, acetic-curing silicone designed for glass bonding and assembly in doors, windows and bathrooms. It has good elasticity and can be used under a wide range of temperature conditions. It absorbs water vapor in the air and solidifies. It has good bonding to general glass and aluminum alloy.

Application

Usage

Construction

1. Clean the surface of the substrate

(1) The purpose of surface treatment before gluing is to remove the natural oxide film contaminated with oil, dust, surface damage and loose on the surface of the substrate in the process of production and transportation, so as to roughen the surface of the substrate and form a surface shape suitable for the embedding of the mechanism, and at the same time improve the surface chemical properties and improve the durability under the influence of stress and environmental factors.

(2) The cleaning solvent is usually isopropanol, methyl ethyl ketone, xylene, and the cleaning cloth should be a white, clean, soft, and non-dehairing cotton cloth.

(3) Clean the surface of the substrate by the "double cloth wiping" method, soak the cloth with solvent, wipe the surface of the substrate can only be carried out in one direction, before the solvent is not volatilized, immediately wipe off the solvent on the surface of the substrate with a second piece of cloth with a clean dry surface.

(4) Do not put the soaked rag into the container for soaking, otherwise the clean solvent will be contaminated and affect the cleaning effect.

(5) Only clean the bonding and sealing construction part within 1 hour each time, and do not expose the surface of the cleaned substrate to the air for too long.

◆ Cover the surface near the interface with plastic tape. To ensure that the working lines of the seal are perfect and neat.

◆ Cut the nozzle of the hose, install the needle-nosed tube, and then cut it at an angle of 45° according to the size of the caulking.

◆ Install the sealant gun, keep the 45° angle along the gap to press out the rubber to ensure that the rubber is in close contact with the surface of the substrate. When the seam width is greater than 15 mm, it is necessary to apply the sealant several times. After gluing, trim the surface with a knife, remove the excess rubber, and then tear off the tape, if there is a stain, you can use a damp cloth to remove it.


Liner material

Open-type polyurethane or closed-cell polyethylene foam filler rods and polyole materials are recommended for padding. Prevents sealant from sticking on three sides.



Restrictions on Use

◆ It cannot be used for structural assembly

◆ Do not use on surfaces where plasticizers or solvents may leak out, as this may cause damage to the sealant

◆ It is not recommended to use it in a completely sealed space, which will cause it to not be able to cure completely due to lack of moisture

◆It is not recommended to use it in places that have been immersed in water for a long time

◆It is not recommended for structural surfaces that will come into direct contact with food

◆It is not recommended to use it on medical devices

Storage

Store the original sealant in a dry place, the temperature should not be higher than 27 °C, and the storage period is 12 months from the date of production
