AC9400 is a low-odor, flexible, two-component acrylic structural adhesive. The two components are mixed in a 1:1 volume ratio. It offers excellent adhesive strength, along with outstanding impact resistance and durability. It requires minimal surface preparation and can quickly bond to most metals and composite materials. Howell HM-AC9400 Acrylic Structural Adhesive


Description

 

AC9400 is a low-odor, flexible, two-component acrylic structural adhesive. The two components are mixed in a 1:1 volume ratio. It offers excellent adhesive strength, along with outstanding impact resistance and durability. It requires minimal surface preparation and can quickly bond to most metals and composite materials. Additionally, it exhibits excellent adhesion to most powder-coated surfaces.

Standard conditions: temperature 23±2°C, relative humidity 50±5%


Instructions:

 

1. To achieve better adhesion, surface contaminants should be removed.

2. This product is a two-component system. Before use, remove the head plug, dispense a small amount of adhesive with the gun to ensure both components A and B are extruded.

3. Ensure the tails of components A and B are aligned, then install the mixing head and dispense the adhesive. Discard the first 3 to 5cm of adhesive before application.

4. If reusing, replace with a new mixing head. Dispense 3 to 5cm of adhesive again before use.

5. The bonded parts should be joined as quickly as possible after dispensing. Larger amounts of adhesive and higher temperatures will reduce working time.

6. Increasing the curing temperature can reduce curing time.



 


Storage/ Shelf Life/Packaging

 

The shelf life is 12 months when properly stored in a cool, dry area in unopened containers, temperature 5~28℃.

Precautions

 

This product is safe and non-toxic after curing. Before curing, try to avoid contact with skin. If it splashes into eyes, wash it with plenty of water quickly. For complete safety and handling information, please refer to the appropriate Material Safety Data Sheets prior to using this product.
