HM-AN243 Anaerobic Threadlocker Used for Various Threaded Fasteners

AN243 is a thixotropic anaerobic threadlocker of medium to high strength that cures quickly, and chemical resistance is the claim the page leads with. It works on a wide spread of metal surfaces and is aimed at threaded fasteners exposed to strong vibration and impact. The single-component blue acrylate carries no solvent; the page cites excellent process performance together with excellent resistance to chemical media.

1.Surface Treatment: It is recommended to clean the threaded surface with a cleaning agent, as an oil-free surface achieves the best locking effect. When there are large gaps, low temperatures, and surface inertness (such as pure aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized, chrome-plated, etc.), a promoter should be used together. 

2.Adhesive Application: Apply adhesive to bolts, nuts, and threaded holes, with a minimum of three drops of adhesive recommended. 

3.Assembly: Assemble bolts and nuts and tighten to the specified torque. 

4.Disassembly: If it is difficult to disassemble directly with a wrench, heat the bolt and nut to 260°C and disassemble while hot. 

5.This product cannot be used for pure oxygen and/or enriched oxygen systems and cannot be used as a sealing material for chlorine and other strong oxidizing materials.

Product shall be stored in a cool, dry area in unopened containers. The shelf life is 18 months when stored with temperature 5~28℃.
