Howell
HM-WR49 sits in the neutral curing, one-component silicone rubber class, pairing low modulus behavior with high elasticity for weather-resistant duty in architectural, decorative and industrial construction. Thixotropy keeps the rubber from sagging in building joints, which is what fits it to non-structural bonding together with the weather resistance and waterproof sealing of curtain walls, and a wide spread of climate temperatures is acceptable. Primer-free adhesion and compatibility stretch across a broad substrate range that includes various powder coating metals. Once cured it shrugs off aging and ultraviolet radiation, spanning extreme high and low temperature change from -50 to 150°C, and low modulus behavior lets the joint interface take expansion and displacement capacity of ±25%. Quoted figures begin with sagging 0 mm, a surface drying time ≤2 h and a depth curing rate 2 mm/day; complete curing in 14-21 days with humidity held at 50±5% and temperature at 23±2℃. Hardness measures 35 Shore A, tensile modulus 0.16 MPa at 25% elongation and 0.36 MPa at 50% elongation, with no break at 100% elongation, an ultimate tensile modulus of 1.2 MPa and ultimate elongation of 400%. The 25HM grade data assumes 25℃ and 50% relative humidity.
Fed from a manual or pneumatic glue gun, HM-WR49 is used exactly as supplied - no stirring step exists - and it begins curing only once water vapor in the air reaches it.
Surface condition is decisive before sizing: the base material has to be dry and clear of pollution such as oil, grease and dust, and on the substrates this grade is designed for the page states good adhesion and compatibility without any primer.
Tool the bead while the surface is still workable, since repair stops being possible once it has crusted, and design the joint so the sealant is never bonded on three sides.
Testing rests with the customer, who should conduct an appropriate test of the recommended sealant for the specific application and decide whether its performance meets their requirements. Nanjing Howell New Material Technology Co., Ltd. can also test the adhesion of Howell products to the materials chosen for the project and will supply product recommendations and surface cleaning methods in writing.
A compatibility test is required before engineering use, covering engineering materials such as aluminum profiles, gaskets, pressure strips and double-sided adhesive tape against the sealant. The customer may run it, or send those materials to the Nanjing Howell laboratory for the compatibility test and a written result.

For 70 ml aluminum tube packaging products, unscrew the cap, puncture the opening, and roll up the end of the toothpaste aluminum tube with a crimper to squeeze out the sealant.
PACKAGE AND STORAGE
Standard packaging runs to 300ml plastic cartridges at 24 per carton, 500ml soft film packs at 20 per box, and a 200L iron drum.
Keep the cartridge, box or drum in its original sealed state somewhere dry; hold it below 27 degrees, and the shelf life counts 12 months from the date of production.
