Description

EP7102 is a one-component heat-curing epoxy adhesive. It has excellent thermal stability and aging properties after curing. Suitable for occasions requiring higher bonding strength. Can bond to ceramics, metals, composite materials and more.

Usage Guidelines

1. Surface treatment:

Polish the adhered surface with a sandblaster or grinding wheel to remove the rust and oxide layer on the surface.

Clean surfaces with residue-free solvent.

The cleaned surface should be glued as soon as possible to prevent the cleaned surface from rusting, oxidizing or contaminating again;

Do not touch the cleaned surface with your hands. Otherwise, the oil on your hands will easily contaminate the clean surface and require cleaning again.

2. Apply glue: Just apply glue on the surface of the substrate to ensure there is no shortage of glue. When used for structural bonding, the thickness of the adhesive layer should be 0.05~0.15mm.

The two bonded surfaces are then carefully pressed together. In order to obtain the best bonding effect, pressure is required during the entire curing process.

3. Curing: Heat and cure the sample according to the recommended curing conditions. Cure time is the time the sample remains after reaching the desired temperature. In actual use, the time required for parts to heat up should be taken into consideration, and the curing time of different parts used should be confirmed through experiments.

4. Post-processing: After solidification and cooling to room temperature, traditional machining methods such as turning, grinding, drilling, tapping, etc. can be used to achieve the required size.


Storage method and shelf life

Store sealed in a cool, dry place away from light. The shelf life is 6 months at 2-8℃.


Precautions

This product is a safe and non-toxic substance after curing, but before curing, contact with the skin should be avoided as much as possible. If it accidentally splashes into the eyes, rinse quickly with plenty of water. Detailed safety data can be found in the Product Safety Data Sheet.
