Description

 

SS9207 is a fast-curing, two-component room temperature vulcanizing silicone rubber with a volume mixing ratio of 10:1. The product is black, alkoxy-based, low odor, non-corrosive, and exhibits excellent adhesion to common substrates. It offers outstanding weather resistance and good electrical insulation properties.

*The thickness of the cured sample is approximately 2mm. It is cured for 7 days under the conditions of (23±2)°C and (50±5)% relative humidity (RH), with a testing temperature of 23°C.




Instructions:

 

1. Pretreatment: To achieve optimal performance, the bonding surface must be clean, free from oil and dust. Howell's dedicated cleaning agent, HM7902, can be used to clean the bonding interface. The substrate surface must be clean, dry, and free from grease.

2. Bonding: To achieve the best bonding performance, surface roughening of the materials or the use of primers/adhesive promoters may be required based on the substrate and its surface condition. Applying pressure to the bonding parts can enhance the bonding effect. Pre-bonding tests can be conducted on the substrate to evaluate bonding performance.

3. Application: This product is packaged in dual cartridges for dispensing using a 10:1 dual-component pneumatic dispensing gun. For large bucket packaging, it should be used with professional dispensing equipment.



 


Storage/ Shelf Life/Packaging

 

The shelf life is 6 months when properly stored in a cool, dry area in unopened containers, temperature 5~28℃.

Precautions

 

This product is safe and non-toxic after curing. Before curing, try to avoid contact with skin. If it splashes into eyes, wash it with plenty of water quickly. For complete safety and handling information, please refer to the appropriate Material Safety Data Sheets prior to using this product.
