Product Description

HM-WR40 universal silicone sealant belongs to a single component, neutral curing, medium modulus silicone rubber; It has good elasticity and displacement deformation ability, and has good adhesion to various building materials.

Usage

HM-WR40 is a single component sealant, it can cure after contact with water vapor in the air, easy to operate, do not need to stir before use, use manual or pneumatic glue gun can be constructed. Before sizing, ensure that the surface of the substrate is dry and free of oil, grease and dust pollution. After sizing, the rubber surface must be trimmed before crusting; Three sides of sealant bonding should be avoided in the design of adhesive joints.

◆ Can not be used for structural assembly 

◆ Can not be used on surfaces that will ooze plasticizers or solvents, which may lead to the sexual damage of the sealant 

◆ It is not recommended for completely sealed space, which can not be fully cured due to lack of water vapor

◆ Not recommended for medical devices 1, The customer is responsible for the application of the recommended sealant for the corresponding test, and determine whether the performance meets the customer's application requirements. 2, The adhesion test company has the ability to test the adhesion of products and materials selected in the project, and will recommend suitable products and correct surface cleaning methods to customers in writing. 3, Compatibility test In order to ensure the compatibility of engineering materials (aluminum, padding, laminate and double-sided adhesive strip, etc.) and sealant, the engineering side needs to do compatibility test before using the company's products, or the engineering side provides materials in the company's laboratory, we will test the company's products and material compatibility test and submit the results in writing to the customer. 

1, Substrate surface cleaning:

(1) The purpose of surface treatment before bonding is to remove the natural oxide film contaminated with oil, dust, surface damage and loose film on the surface of the substrate during the production and transportation process, so that the surface of the substrate is coarsed to form a surface shape suitable for the mechanism mosaics, while improving the surface chemical properties and improving the durability under the influence of stress environmental factors. (2) Cleaning solvent is usually isopropyl alcohol, methyl ethyl ketone, xylene, cleaning cloth should be white, clean, soft, non-hair cotton. (3) Clean the surface of the substrate using the "double cloth wiping" method, wet the clean cloth with solvent, wipe the surface of the substrate can only be carried out in one direction, before the solvent is not volatile, immediately wipe the solvent on the surface of the substrate with a second piece of dry surface clean cloth. (4) Do not put the infiltrating cloth into the container for infiltration, otherwise the clean solvent will be contaminated, affecting the cleaning effect. (5) Only complete the bonding seal construction part within 1h each time, and do not expose the cleaned substrate surface to the air for too long. 

2, Betting: 

(1) Cover the surface near the interface with plastic tape. To ensure that the working lines of the seal are perfectly neat. (2) Cut the hose mouth, install the nozzle tube, and then cut it at a 45° Angle according to the filling size. (3) Install the glue gun and press the glue material along the gap at a 45° Angle to ensure that the glue material is in close contact with the substrate surface. When the seam width is greater than 15 mm, it is necessary to apply glue repeatedly. After gluing, use a tool to trim the surface, remove excess adhesive material, and then remove the tape. If there is any stain, use a wet cloth to remove it.

 3, Padding material 

Open polyurethane or closed cell polyethylene foam filler rods and polyene materials are recommended as padding materials. Prevent the sealant from sticking on three sides.


Package and Storage

Standard 300ml plastic bottle packaging, 24 pieces/box; 500-600ml soft film packaging, 20 PCS/box; 200L iron drum. 

Storage:Store the original sealant in a dry place, the temperature should not be higher than 27 degrees, from the date of production, the storage period is 12 months
